Something new is something lost. Observations on composing and decomposing.

Using a somewhat provocative title, I present a video and talk about my recent investigations of the culture/zoe/technology continuum, with a focus on the processes of composition and decomposition from an artistic and ecological/ecofeminist position. I show a video that was filmed at the Siikaneva peatland, Finland, during my residency at the Hyytiälä Forest Station of the University of Helsinki. See some video stills below.
